Samsung has accidentally confirmed its intentions to launch the foldable smartphone; Galaxy X. Samsung has showcased foldable mobile devices for years at tech trade shows, but it never was ready to launch one, but it seems that Galaxy X might break the bar.
Galaxy X Is In The Making
A support page on Samsung’s own site confirms the existence of the Galaxy X. The alleged support page is for an ‘SM-G888N0’ phone, although the page doesn’t shed light on what the model name stands for. This model number has been spotted in the past too.
Some reports suggest that the ‘NO’ in the model number suggest that the phone might launch in South Korea before making its way to other markets. According to Mobiel Kopen, the SM-G888N0 has already been passed through several certifications, which includes Bluetooth SIG, South Korea’s National Radio Research Agency, and Wi-Fi Alliance.
Samsung Galaxy X was earlier code-named “Project Valley”. According to some reports, Samsung will manufacture the X in small numbers, to begin with, which apparently means that it may not get a wide release.
