WHAT  IS HYDRO DIPPING?

Hydro dipping is the method of applying printed design to three dimensional objects . Hydro dipping is also known as Hydro graphics or water transfer printing or immersed printing.

Hydro dipping is used to  design metals , glasses, plastics , hardwoods and other material .

PROCESS BEHIND HYDRO DIPPING :

Hydro dipping  process the substrate piece to be printed  first goes through entire painting process such as surface preparation, priming, painting and clear coating. Then the piece is processed  further , a polyvinyl alcohol hydro-graphic film  which has been processed under photo graphic printing  by which the required image is transferred  carefully over water surface in a dipping tank. Here the clear films are soluble in water and dissolves after  applying an activator solution.

Once the dipping is begun, the surface tension of water allows the pattern to curve any shape .This make objects to coated further it allowed to dry .
